Does what it claims but bigger than expected
Strangely I ordered the riser block but received the climbing block in the mail. Not that it matters same price same overall function. This product does exactly what it claims and honestly I don't think the CycleOps trainer can be used comfortably without it. If your front wheel isn't propped up on something you'll be in an oddly downward facing position at all times which I can't imagine would be desirable. One complaint would be that the different slots for the tire aren't marked or numbered in any way to let you know which setting you've used so I feel like everytime I set up the trainer I need to spin the block around and sit the bike in it then look at the angle the bike is at then reposition if necessary. It's just molded plastic is it too difficult to have a little number 1 2 and 3 set into it somewhere? Sort of annoying but aside from that the block is good. It even helps keep the bike upright while you're playing around properly securing the back wheel to the trainer.More detail ...
