Makes me tired - but in a good way.
I bought this to use on my desk chair to improve my posture and make working at my desk less sedentary. Because you have to subtly but constantly work at maintaining your position your muscles will definitely feel it until you get used to it. All in all I'm very happy with it and it was worth the price just for the laughs the first time I sat on it!

Inconsistent quality: great idea but potentially dangerous
I first used the TRX Professional at my gym (with a personal trainer) and was happy with the results and convenience. I decided to purchase my own TRX for home use on those days when I can't make it to the gym.
I purchased my TRX directly from Fitness Anywhere and was surprised that after about a year of infrequent use the right cam buckle started to slip. A brief internet search and a review of some of the reviews here on Amazon shows that other customers have experienced the same issue (cam buckle slippage). This is not only problematic because of the cost and promised quality of the item but because it's dangerous; I fell to the floor when the cam recently suddenly slipped in the middle of a rep.
When I contacted Fitness Anywhere to inquire about simply replacing the defective buckle (a presumably inexpensive replacement part which I would have paid for) they responded that my product must be counterfeit. When I replied that I'd ordered it from them and gave the order number they responded that my product was outside the one-year warranty period and that they would not replace it. They then offered me a paltry 20% discount on a new unit though I'm not sure why anyone would spend nearly $200 on a product that may or may not be as defective as the first.
For the record it sounds as if at least one other Amazon customer with a two-year-old TRX with defective cam-buckle actually received a replacement from Fitness Anywhere. I've written to them once more and asked them to at least be consistent with their treatment of other customers and hope they will take a look at a picture of the defective buckle on my unit. But based on their responses so far I am not hopeful. I should note that I have made three purchases from Fitness Anywhere in as many years and have widely recommended the unit. I'd have hoped that Fitness Anywhere would treat loyal customers better and I recommend any potential customers consider this information before spending hundreds of dollars on anything this company sells.
I will post more information about their response once the issue is (or is not) resolved.

Cheap product
too bad .... kids don't need these long.
but they do need to reach the ground ... they absolutely will not fit 20" bikes they miss by 4" ... 12" bike yes.
they are also so flimsy if your child is not coordinated and able to learn fast they will not last.
if road are rough I imagine they would not last but a few days
I would also question their safety

Worth the price but somewhat flimsy plastic wheel
The training wheels are sufficient as advertised but they may not hold up for long. If your youngster is just starting out they may not last through his or her entire learning experience. They certainly won't be able to be passed down to a second child learning to balance on two wheels unless the first one was very light in weight and mastered it quickly. Still though probably a good purchase for the price in that you can get at least two sets of these for the price of a more durable and quality set.
They mount easily and you can assemble them with the proper tools while your toddler waits and enjoy the entire experience of putting them together and trying them out together.

Solid Product - Recommended
Bought these for my 4-year-old. As my title said a very solid well made item adustable as he becomes more balances as he learns to ride.
Almost an out of the part home run except I wish they threw in two washers so I don't have to keep tightening the bolts as often... I'll just have to dig up a couple of my own. Other than that minor annoyance it is a superior product and I do recommend it!

Training wheels
Sold a new bike to middle-aged woman who had brain surgery and now had balance problem. She was determined to ride a bike with her husband and we found the only set of wheels that would fit a 26" bike. Made her very happy and is helping her confidence. While this lady was just under the weight limit for this item I had to adjust it a few times as it was straining under the weight when she was leaning to one side or the other. Either the weight limit is slightly exaggerated or it should max at 24".
This product served the purpose in this case and owners understand the limitations but were happy with the product as it accomplished what she wanted and didn't have to resort to a trike.

Good deal!
I ended up buying this at a local sports store and like the previous two reviewers was a bit wary to buy it because there were no reviews. I ended up finally buying it because of the reputation that Schwinn has with its other ellipticals and was not disappointed.
I had no difficulty putting it together by myself but it would be best to have two people. Thank you reviewer Toasty for informing me that the water bottle holder is not included. I'll stop searching my house for the damn thing now. I thought I lost it. The bolts screws and washers come on two cardboard sheets along with two wrenches and a hex/screw driver. You will have the screws left over for the water bottle holder. The programming was pretty straight forward until I got to the custom program level. I'm still not sure how I got past that screen.
The elliptical itself feels sturdy and well built. I am 300 pounds and it supports my weight without shaking or wobbling. The 18" stride and the handles feel comfortable for my 5'10" frame. I heard some complaints from the salesmen at the sports store that the handles were to far forward but I did not have that problem. The console is pretty basic but what was expected for the price.
Bottom line is if you are looking for a sub $600 elliptical that is well built this is the one for you.

good but not perfect
This is a fairly compact noiseless and easy-to-assemble machine and it does its job.
The counter is placed out of the way between your ankles so you don't have to stare at it while exercising (unless you exercise while staring at your ankles) which to me is a plus. Also the counter only accounts for the actual time you spend exercising so if you go get a drink of water and return it self-pauses which is cool.
The machine does occasionally rock slightly from side-to-side during use which I'd imagine could cause injury. Also the machine doesn't glide easily during strides as it does on a regular elliptical; it occasionally jolts. This can be jarring especially if you're not used to the unusually short strides on this machine. I recommend using this while you have something to stabilize yourself if this happens (I use it in a doorway)
Not the best machine out there but it's certainly affordable and easy to use a great purchase for a small space or for someone who wants to be able to stow away exercise equipment easily.

Does what it claims but bigger than expected
Strangely I ordered the riser block but received the climbing block in the mail. Not that it matters same price same overall function. This product does exactly what it claims and honestly I don't think the CycleOps trainer can be used comfortably without it. If your front wheel isn't propped up on something you'll be in an oddly downward facing position at all times which I can't imagine would be desirable. One complaint would be that the different slots for the tire aren't marked or numbered in any way to let you know which setting you've used so I feel like everytime I set up the trainer I need to spin the block around and sit the bike in it then look at the angle the bike is at then reposition if necessary. It's just molded plastic is it too difficult to have a little number 1 2 and 3 set into it somewhere? Sort of annoying but aside from that the block is good. It even helps keep the bike upright while you're playing around properly securing the back wheel to the trainer.

It is what it is.
I wanted this item to hold the remote phone etc...while I road my trainer and it does that as I hoped. It does make getting on and off the bike a bit more of a hassle (not much). It is what is advertised and does what it claims to do. Not a necessity but serves a purpose if you need to hold items. As far as protecting the bike any cloth or towel would seem to do as well or better-- if you don't care to use the pockets.

Stable but doesn't level the bike
The block does a good job of securing the front wheel and providing a stable platform. However it's not tall enough to level the road bike I've used hooked up to a Blackburn trainer. The only way to get a comfortable riding position is to stack a good thick phone directory underneath the stabilizer ... the older style really thick and wide phone books work best.

Nice mat
I like the mat seems very durable and of good quality; though it's a little pricey (that's why 4 stars instead of 5). I purchased this mat intending to use it on my hardwood floor to help dampen noise from the trainer|bike but ended up placing the trainer in a room with a rug. I still use the mat in order to catch any oil or crud that may drip from my bike but have found that the trainer doesn't stay flat on the rug -- it tends to slip a little bit and bunch up around the places where it contacts the trainer. This is not an issue while riding but is a cosmetic thing. The trainer seems to be pushing and stretching the mat into the rug.

So noisy I can't use it
I bought the CycleOps Wind Indoor Trainer to train at home when I can't hit the road because of work (or weather) complications. If you are like me that means weekdays late at night or very early in the morning.
I'm terribly frustrated because I can't use it due to the unbearable noise the fan flywheel makes. My neighbors can't stand it. Hey I can't stand it! The noise level is comparable to an industrial vacuum cleaner. To give you an idea I don't even hear the music from my iPod while riding this thing.
Don't buy it! Go for the magnetic resistance models.

don't get the bad reviews
i love this thing. and i paid more for it in a bike store so this is a deal. snap to set-up. takes 15 minutes maybe. there is a gentle hum but not loud. i have chronic fatigue so this is perfect. I was looking for a very easy low impact workout and this is it. I used to be an avid bike rider but not suffer from CFS and i'm hoping this thing will bring me back. so if you need and real easy work-out and have cfs this is as good as it gets. I love it. and this price is a super deal.

When the weather is all wrong This Baby Is Alright!
I purchased the Kurt Kenetic two months ago and am thrilled with its performance and quality. If you are considering purchasing a trainer fluid trainers are the way to go. Basically there are four major types of trainers: MagneticWind Rim Driven and Fluid. The later is the best hands down! Fluid resistance trainers are more quiet smoother and more realistic than any of the others mentioned. The only drawback to the fluid trainer is that over time they can leak resistance fluid. There are three companies that have solutions to this drawback. I highly recommend that you research all three and test them out where possible. A good review page is Roadbikereview.com . The CycleOps Fluid 2 is ultra smooth and quiet. They have a limmited warranty on thier products but are known for standing behind their trainers for life and will fix any issues probably for life! The One Up Trainer has all the advantages of a fluid trainer but uses no fluid in its designe it is made in America and carries a life time warranty. The Kurt Kinetic which I decided to purchase is IMHO the best because it utilizes a sealed fluid unit and therefore is guranteed not to leak. These three units are roughly the same price around $260.00. Steep? Think of it this way This product is going to be your companion for many winters so don't buy a loud crappy one with crappy customer service! You'll regret later that you didn't spend the extra $75 or $80 on a quality product. I also tested the Blackburn Fluid $100 bucks cheaper not bad for price but since it is new to the market I was unsure about durabillity or how well they stand behind thier trainers after warranty expiration. I have heard amazing testimonials of how Cyclops Kurt and One Up have replaced parts and even whole trainers no questions asked! Google these three companies and see for yourself.

Inertia is important
A trainer is better if it closely replicates an actual cycling experience. Hence the graduating complexity and cost of fan magnetic and fluid drive trainers. The more you pay the closer the experience is to replicating the inertia of what happens in a real ride. You want the trainer to feel as if it takes more exertion to get up to speed but also want it to "coast" when you stop pedaling. This trainer is a mag drive and does a good overall job but doesn't coast well. I find myself pedaling all the time as if I were hill climbing. That's OK for getting exercise but not good for getting in a sustained ride. Those brief periods of coasting help the muscles recover and allow longer ride time. I could stop entirely for short periods but that's not how I want to ride. I do use the gears to vary pedaling speed but can't use the high gear and standing to vary the working muscles enough on the trainer; the resistance doesn't go high enough for that. I haven't tried a fluid drive so don't know if it would be much better. I suggest trying a trainer somewhere before buying. All said and done I would probably buy this same trainer again as it is solidly built and with a smooth tire on the bike quiet enough. Now if someone put a 20 lb weight on the spinner...

Great Trainer
This Trainer is great. Relatively easy set up. Tremendous customer support when you call about anything that is unclear. The instructions are a bit weak for setting it up (hence the call to customer support). Once you get it set up it is wonderful. A truly tough workout the free Chris Carmichael DVD helps you through your first workout and gives you ideas for setting up other workouts on your own. You need to get the riser block for the front wheel or it does not feel right. During my first 2 workouts on it I easily exceeded the Heart Rates I was getting in an organized Spinning Class. Feels rock solid.

What I expected only noisier...
I was happy to find that there is no assembly required. It was very easy to set up. It works fine and is a very sturdy and good-quality piece of equipment. However it is noisier than I thought it would be. Well I did choose the cheapest bike trainer I could find so maybe you get what you pay for.
